Former Supersport United striker Thamsanqa Gabuza has been spotted at TS Galaxy during pre-season.
Gabuza spent three years at Matsatsantsa and made just over 110 appearances for the club, scoring just over 20 goals.
However, at the end of last campaign, the 34-year-old was told that his contract won’t be renewed for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
The experienced striker has two MTN8 trophies under his belt, having won one with Lamontville Golden Arrows in 2009 and one with Matsatsantsa in 2019 after scoring three goals in the tournament.
SSNEWS can confirm that Gabuza is currently at Galaxy as they aim to boast their squad for the upcoming season.
The Rockets have signed Thato Khiba, Mpho Mvelase and Rwanda goalkeeper Ntwari Fiacre, but have yet to officially confirm the latest arrivals.
Supersport United have signed a replacement for Thamsanqa gabuza which is Etiosa Ighodaro on a long season loan deal which includes that he should not play against Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club but he can play against other teams.
Ighodaro can only play against Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club only in friendly matches and not on official matches.
TS Galaxy Football Club will look to make a big announcement whether they have signed Thamsanqa Gabuza or not,but his age might also be a concern for the club.
