It was rumored that Khama Billiat, a former star of the Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns, would rejoin Ajax Cape Town which is Cape Town Spurs now.
Billiat made his professional debut for Ajax Cape Town on 20 August 2010 against Mamelodi Sundowns, winning (4–3) on penalties after a 1–1 draw, in a quarterfinal match of the 2010 MTN 8 tournament at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town. He was acquired by Ajax Cape Town in the summer of 2010 as a transfer from Zimbabwean club CAPS United, only 3 months after the club had recruited him from Aces Youth Soccer Academy in Harare. Billiat was joined at Ajax CT.

“Spurs want him. They have spoken to him and the deal is as good as done. It’s almost 90% done as I am talking to you. The team wants to avoid relegation and they feel the addition of an experience player like Billiat will help them in the second round of the season,” the source told Siya Crew during transfer window.
The Siya sources also revealed that former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns was also willing to accept Pay Cut.
“It’s aslo about giving back to his former team and that’s why he is willing to negotiate the salary part of it. They know it won’t be as low as other players in the team but they are willing to negotiate with him so that he can help the team while the club is also helping him out. Yes the deal is almost done and it looks very positive as things stand now,”the source observed
