Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane provided an update on transfers following the opening of the January transfer window.
The club will need to fill some obvious deficiencies in Arthur Zwane’s team during the first half of the season, and Amakhosi supporters will be hoping that they do so.
The striking department is one area where there is a gap. According to Arthur Zwane
Samir Nurkovic, Leonard Castro, and Lazarus Kambole were all fired by Kaizer Chiefs at the end of the previous season.
while new signing Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana is facing injuries
Sincs then Arthur Zwane has reaffirmed that the team is in need of a backup striker
“Realistically, we’re looking for a striker,” the Kaizer Chiefs coach said as quoted by KickOff.
“If we get a striker then yes. But it must be a striker that will come and add value. A striker that can help the likes of Duba in growing, not a player that will just come to add numbers”.
“If we don’t get the quality that we’re looking for, we’d rather play Duba. He’ll grow and score goals just as he’s been doing in the DDC”.
