Just before the window period or registration period closes, Mphatlalatsane FM reported that another talented winger might join Kaizer Chiefs FC.
According to the report, Kaizer Chiefs FC might sign the one and only winger Junior Mendieta. Mendieta is a citizenship of Argentina, he is currently playing at Stellenbosch FC in the DStv premier soccer league in South Africa. His natural position is left wing, but he is able to play as a right winger and attacking midfielder.

In 2014 / 2015 he was a player of CD Morón. He then join Lanús ll on 2015 / 2016 season. In 2016 / 2017 he was a player at Los Angeles, after a loan transfer from the previous club. In 2017 / 2018 he joined Lanús ll back after the end of loan. 2018 / 2019 he joined Rafaela on a loan transfer, and return back to Lanús ll. In 2020 / 2021 he joined South African side Stellenbosch FC on a loan transfer agin. This transfer history is according to TM.
Junior Mendieta was born on the 13th June 1993. He is twenty nine years old, he will be thirty years this year. His height is 1.70 m. He was given jersey number – ten at The Steelies. His weight is sixty two kilo grammes.
Junior Mendieta already has more than eight goals contributions this season 2022 / 2023. The right footed player has played seventeen games this season and netted five goals and assisted four goals. Mendieta is expected to compete with Kgaogelo Sekgota, Mdudusi Shabalala, Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly at Kaizer Cheifs FC. But this will happen only if the transfer will happen as expected. Kaizer Chiefs FC are targeting other players from different clubs in South Africa.
