Ditlhokwe, picked an injury on national team duty, few weeks ago. Apart from Ditlhokwe, we are told Keagan Dolly and Ashely Du Preez, will face late fitness test ahead of the coming clash.
We can confirm that it’s now a week since both players training with the rest of Chiefs squad. It is possible for both players to part of the squad that will face Richards Bay.
In other news, in case you missed it, the previous match that was against Polokwane City FC and Kaizer Chiefs FC was analysed by one of the top analyser from IdisKi TV, known by Junior Khanye, who is also a former Amakhosi winger.
Khanye has raised some views regarding the match, he even gave fans’ favourite Nkosingphile Ngcobo a new title. Khanye says Ngcobo is no longer a young player, he is now a senior player, who was promoted around 2019 there. He says Ngcobo must start being responsible and perform better in the field of play. Khanye believes Ngcobo is not playing like a senior player, but he is more relaxed.
Apart from Ngcobo, Khanye says they newly signed striker who joined Chiefs on a loan from outside South Africa, Jasond Gonzalez is not offering anything. IdisKi TV analyser says Cavin Johnson made bad substitutes that’s why Amakhosi was not good on managing the game. He does not understand why Gonzalez was introduced.
Junior also mentioned that Bruce Bvuma was jus lucky for not conceding any goal because he was positioning himself well. He says Polokwane City FC had good chances that Chiefs, even though both side didn’t deserve to win.
In as much as Junior Khanye rates Cavin Johnson very high, his fan Khanye said Johnson is a good coach, who is coaching a wrong team. He says Chiefs players are not Johnson’s material.
Apart from that, Ranga Chivaviro was subbed of in the second half, and according to Chiefs interim head coach, he was frustrated, because goals are not coming for him.
“I have to go back and make sure his head is clean because you know what strikers are like,” the Chiefs coach said.
“Strikers are like goalkeepers, they are mad. Sometimes they are mad they want to score goals because that’s what fuels their football body when they score goals. And yes I think he should have scored one he had a nice chance, he made it himself, and he put it on his left foot.
“I thought if he was just a little bit calmer the right side of the goal was open but he takes a snapshot. If he just pushed it in it would have been a goal.
“But not to be today and yes he does come from an area where he scored I think 12 or 13 goals in a season.
“So all that stuff as far as a striker is concerned, normally plays in your mind but the big thing that he has to realise is that he is not playing for Marumo Gallants anymore or for AJ United he is playing for Kaizer Chiefs and that comes with so, so much pressure.
“Besides being a good player, besides being a good person that comes with [pressure] a lot of times because every game you play, whatever center-back you are playing against is not going to play at 50% he is going to play at a 150%. So you have to up your game to 200% and that’s the difference.” – he said.
