
As we reported days ago, Kaizer Chiefs FC announced the signing of Thathayoke Ditlhokwe who signed a pre – contract with Kaizer Chiefs FC. The player is expected to join Amakhosi from July 2023, but there is a latest update.
According to the latest news, we are hearing that Kaizer Chiefs FC is pushing with Supersport United to have Thatayaone Ditlhokwe join Kaizer Chiefs FC before the transfer window closes today. This latest news come after Bobby Motaung (Kaizer Chiefs FC Football maneger ) confirming that they still want to add new player to their squad.
Ditlhokwe is a central deffender, who is a captain of Botswana national team. He is one of award winning deffenders in the league. He was a man of the match on the seventh October 2022 on their victory ( 3 – 1 ) against Sekhukhune United. He was amongst goalscorers, Grobler scored after 15 minutes, Ditlhokwe scored a goal after 42 minutes and Gabuza scored the last goal after 59 min. Sekhukhune’s goal was scored by Masiya after 64 minutes. He also won man of the match award on the 9th September 2022.
Thatayaone Ditlhokwe joined Supersport Untied from Township Rollers in 2019, after signing three and half year deal. He made a debut on the 13 January 2020 against Amazulu. He was announced by Kaizer Chiefs FC on the 19 January 2023 after signing a pre – contract.

“Kaizer Chiefs are delighted to announce the signing of a pre-contract securing the acquisition of left-sided centre-back, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, from SuperSport United.
“The highly rated international who captains Botswana’s national team has penned a four-year contract and will arrive to begin his life in Naturena in July 2023.
“We look forward to welcoming him to Amakhosi.”- Chiefs announcement read.
Ditlhokwe will join the likes of Njabulo Ngcobo, Eric Mathoho, Siyabonga Ngezana, Edmilson Dove, Zitha Kwinika, Thabani Dube.
However, there are rumours saying Kaizer Chiefs FC will loan out Njabulo Ngcobo and Thabani Dube to Swallows FC with an option to sign them when they become free agents.
