In case you missed it, Kaizer Chiefs FC management has finally wrote a letter to PSL. The agenda on the letter is the apology to PSL after the behaviour that was shown by Amakhosi fans after the loss against TS Galaxy, on the 20 st of August this year, where by Chiefs lost one to zero.
As a reminder, Kaizer Chiefs FC was fined hundred thousand / R100 000.00 and forced to write an apology letter.
The letter from Kaizer Chiefs FC management read;
LETTER OF APOLOGY FOR KAIZER CHIEFS ‘ SUPPORTERS ‘ BEHAVIOUR AT KAIZER CHIEFS VS TS GALAXY FC PSL FIXTURE ON 20 AUGUST 2023
Kaizer Chiefs here by unreservedly apologizes to the PSL, all PSL member clubs, TS Galaxy FC and all of its peace loving supporters at the club’s PSL fixture against TS Galaxy FC at Mbombela stadium on 20 August 2023.
The club condemns this poor and unacceptable behaviour in the strongest possible terms.
We have commenced a process of engaging with Kaizer branches on supporter behaviour at football matches.
Yours Sincerely
Kaizer Chiefs Football Club
That’s how Kaizer Chiefs FC management apologized to PSL.
However, some people believe that the management writing a message to branches on engaging with them will never help. Some believes branches arround the whole South African country have less than fifty thousand / 50 000 supporters and they do not attend the same games. Those fans say contacting fifty thousand supporters while having more than twenty million / 20 000 000 us somehow a delusion. They say branches do not make even two percent of Amakhosi whole supporters hence they say it is delusional.
“We all know that it is not branch people who attack coaches in the stadiums.
“It is other Kaizer Chiefs fans who do not belong to any structure and do not account to any branches.
“And you can’t give custard to millions of Supporters.” – says one of influencing Kaizer Chiefs FC supporters.
Kaizer Chiefs FC will face Royal AM on the 20 September 2023, kick off at 20 hrs 00 min.
