According to a source close to Chiefs, Edmilson Dove is likely to hold contract negotiations with the team.
The Glamour Boys may be trying to sign the 28-year-old to a new contract, according to indications.
“What I can tell you is that the talks are ongoing. You can see the club has been busy so it won’t be just that easy to finish off the talks and agree on a new deal. But the team has offered a two-year deal from June 2024 to June 2026,” a source revealed to the Siya crew.
“They want to make sure that he agrees and signs the new deal before December to avoid the chance of opening up negotiations with other teams in December as he will have only six months left on his contract.
“They don’t want to lose him for free as they also got him on a free transfer. He has done very well for the team since he joined and they want to keep him for longer,” the source added.
