Incase you missed it, Kaizer Chiefs FC parted ways with some of their youngsters including the young full back, Puso Dithejane who has just joined TS Galaxy. A discovery has been shared regarding the official price Chiefs got as a compensation.
With TS Galaxy having snapped up the former Kaizer Chiefs DDC right-back Puso Dithejane, FARPost has learnt how the two sides have reached a consensus over the youngster’s compensation.
Dithejane was released by Amakhosi along with former teammate Unathi Mdaka due to alleged misconduct. The duo was said to have refused to be ball retrievers in a match against AmaZulu FC in October.
Further, Amakhosi would only clear the defenders if an R1.5 million fee is paid for each player by the admirers.
Dithejane was then seized by the Rockets a few days after leaving Naturena. However, he wouldn’t be registered before Galaxy compensates the Soweto giants.
CHIEFS RECEIVE PARTIAL PAYMENT FOR DITHEJANE
According to a source close to the Mpumalanga-based side, Amakhosi rejected TS Galaxy’s request to pay the fee in installments for two years.
However, the two sides are understood to have found common ground with Galaxy having already made the partial payment. This would mean they can now add the player to their books while paying the remaining balance.
Dithejane was part of the Bafana Bafana squad that played the COSAFA Cup in Durban in July and was one of the influential players in the Chiefs’ DStv Diski Challenge team. Before he departed from Chiefs, he also trained with the first team, hoping to make his breakthrough soon.

MDAKA RESURFACED AT AMAZULU
Meanwhile, Mdaka, who left Chiefs along with Dithejane, resurfaced at the KZN side AmaZulu FC. He was training with the first team under Pablo Franco Martin before the FIFA recess last week.
However, during the club’s media open day on Wednesday, he was nowhere to be seen in training. This publication understands he has joined the AmaZulu reserve team.
Moreover, according to the insiders, Mdaka might be in the plans of the first team and could make a return to Martin’s side in the second round.
Our analyser Senzo Sambo, has also analysed Puso before leaving Amakhosi. Here is what he said;
“This boy has potential to become one of the best Wing Backs in SA history. He models his game around Achraf Hakimi he is so explosive and skilful going forward making great runs and also great crosses. Not to mention the fact that he is a goal scoring wing Back he scores like 4 to 5 goals per season coupled with 7 assists.
“Unfortunately we have alot of Supporters and coaches who are plumbers hence we will never have something great in this country immediately we try to develop our young boy’s to fit in the modern game plumbers come and start calling Dithejane a winger then when he struggles they attack him. Personally i don’t even need to be told by anyone i have watched Puso Dithejane from his School of Excellence days and hi time in the U17 with the National team also with the Kaizer Chiefs U 19 and U 17 that boy has never been a winger.
“Problem some people in SA immediately they see an explosive FullBack who contributes alot offensively they start fantasizing he must be a winger and you wonder why our football in this country is backwards even the coaches think like most of the Supporters. In Europe you will never hear Barca fans calling for Alejandro Balde to become a winger just because he is skilful and explosive.
*The likes of Reece James, TTA are very good going forward you will never hear those Supporters saying those players must be wingers because when playing as a winger it’s not the same when you are playing as a wingback and making your runs from deep. If you move a wingback to Winger most of takeons runs are likely to end up as goal kicks because they are used to having anches of space they explore.
“Let’s do better as South Africans in 2023 you still want stiff Full Backs who can’t even put on a decent cross. If he is bad defensively it’s up to the coaches to improve him. Dithejane has played as a CB,Right Back almost his entire Development career. We need that for the boy i see our Future Fullback there. Plumber Supporters and coaches can go to h*ll.
