Ashely Du Preez picked an injury some couple of weeks ago, he missed some important Kaizer Chiefs FC games like Capetown Spurs FC and Orlando Pirates FC.
Kaizer Chiefs FC management did confirm that Du Preez will be back next year, as they confirmed that he will miss the rest of Chiefs gamers this season. However, it seems like Ashely Du Preez’s return date has taken a shocking U-turn, even though it’s interesting, especially to those who are missing him.
According to what some of top journalists like Austin Ditlhobolo reported few days ago, Du Preez might be back this weekend when Kaizer Chiefs FC face Moroka Swallows FC on a DStv premier ship league match, that will be played on Sunday, kick off at 15 hours 30 minutes, after the international break.
Du Preez is amongst Kaizer Chiefs FC players who are loved by lot of fans including our analyser Senzo Sambo. Here are Sambo’s analysis on Ashely.
“Ashley Du Preez is easily the most dangerous player playing on the shoulders of the defenders. His ability to make half runs and create spaces for himself is quite remarkable the boy you can see it’s really in his blood to make runs in behind the defense.
“The fact that we have a player who can position himself to get 1 v 1 situations in almost every game should tell us we have a good player. Now coaching must take place it’s coaching which must improve his finishing and encourage him to make those blind runs more in the game.
“Even Saile he seems to be having that ability to make runs in behind the defense and create space for himself. Ashley Du Preez is going to be the last player i analyze today. Ashley Du Preez was peerless yesterday he was walking on water and as one of his supporters I’m glad he is now showing his abilities.
“Ashley Du Preez is not a winger he is a centre forward obvious due to his intelligence he will go wide at some point that on its own is a bonus having a forward who can play outwide when he wants which makes him to be unpredictable in that forward line.
“Ashley Du Preez is the mastermind of playing on the pockets and half spaces it’s running in his blood it’s not coaching it’s the trait he possess himself he knows where tk exploit the defense in order to get space and get himself a 1v1 situation with the GK.
“He can make runs coming from wide areas and also deep inside also he is the king in terms of playing on the defenders shoulder he knows how to time his runs and he knows how to use his strength which is pace according to his full abilities.
“I have not seen a forward that peels off as lucidly as Ashley Du Preez when attacking the farpost! He’s lightning quick. You give him that specific service he will bury 9/10. It’s a glorious sight. With a Saile who is more similar if you coach them right to compliment each other trust me no one would want to face out attack because they would be unmarkable.”
