The Mozambican attacking star has publicly announced that he wasted his time by trialing at Kaizer Chiefs FC.
Mozambican attacking midfielder Amansio ‘Neymar’ Canhembe has decided to break his silent after training or trialing with Kaizer Chiefs FC in January during the transfer window. Canhembe says he wasted three weeks trialing at Kaizer Chiefs FC. He even announced that he played some friendly games with Kaizer Chiefs FC.
He said another friendly game that he played was at Wits University football pitches. He also said Chiefs manager (didn’t mention his name) told him to stop training and the manager promised to call him later, unfortunately he is yet to receive a call even today.
Neymar also confirmed that he did not only train with Amakhosi, but he mentioned Sekhukhune United. Amansio said that it is his dream to play a professional league in South Africa, he said South African league is really nice.
Amansio ‘Neymar’ Canhembe did not train / trial alone. He was with Stanley Ratifo, Maurizio Macotig and Christian Saile Basomboli in December. However, only Christian Saile Basomboli amongst those trialists who was given a contract.
Saile was pleasantly announced by Kaizer Chiefs FC on the 19th January this year. He is twenty two years old, he was given jersey – number 21. The jersey was used by former Kaizer Chiefs FC attacker Lebohang Manyama before leaving Amakhosi. Manyama is nowhere to be seen around the field.
Kaizer Chiefs FC current new comers are Caleb Bimenyimana and Christian Saile Basomboli. Caleb is one of South Africa top league goalscorers. Caleb has netted seven goals since arriving at Chiefs. However he has scored more than four penalties, that extended his goals.
The leading top goalscorers are Peter Shalulile and Bradly Grobler. Both players have nine goals.
Stellenbosch FC winger Junior Mendieta, is amongst top goalscorer. He has netted five goals. Golden Arrows winger Pule Mmodi, also has five goals this season. Both players are linked with a possible move to Kaizer Chiefs FC.
Chiefs have even contacted Stellenbosch, asking if Junior Mendieta is available. Kaizer Chiefs FC head coach Arthur Zwane, is Junior Mendieta biggest fan, meaninf it is possible for him to join Amakhosi before the 2023 / 2024 season starts.
