Kaizer Chiefs failed to pay R10 Million for Khanyisa Mayo.

Recently the Club was linked with PSL joint top goal scorer for the just ended season Khanyisa Mayo who is the son of Kaizer Chiefs legend Patrick Mayo,Just like his father Khanyisa Mayo is also left footed and commands a powerful technique which has been lauded by some of the coaches who worked with him. Khanyisa Mayo has been linked with the Glamour boys since January however the Cape Town City star has now penned a contract which will keep him at City until 2028.
SSnews reveals what led to Kaizer Chiefs missing out in one of the best forwards in the League. According to information provided to SSNews Media is that Kaizer Chiefs did have countless meetings with Khanyisa Mayo’s team and agent in January whereby a fee of R10Million was demanded.
However Kaizer Chiefs Reportedly pulled out on the deal calling the figures unrealistic which led to talks between the two Clubs collapsing and recent developments have seen Kaizer Chiefs Supporters being frustrated.
