How much Castore is proposing to Kaizer Chiefs.
After rumours started circulating last week about Kaizer Chiefs ending their 21 year partnership with Nike it comes as a no surprise that most labels are now linked with the Kaizer Chiefs brand with the hope of taking over.
In some rumours Kaizer Chiefs are rumoured to be open to partnering with one of the fastest growing Sport brands by the name of Castore which seems to be taking over the sports dominated Field.
Castore is already sponsoring teams like Newcastle and Aston Villa in the English Premier League and with Kaizer Chiefs rumoured to be participating ways with Nike it can be the perfect time for Castore to partner with one of Africa’s biggest Clubs in fanbase to grow their brand all over Africa so People can get familiar with it.
Though there’s nothing official at this stage it’s also rumoured that Castore is not the only Sponsor lining up to replace Nike according to SSNews rumours Adidas and Puma are also interested but nothing concrete has been proposed of yet.
And Nike is also keen to renew their Sponsorship Deal with Kaizer Chiefs but the new terms and conditions Kaizer Chiefs is proposing in order for Nike to improve their Sponsor seem to be a hard mountain to climb.
According to rumours Castore is planning on giving Kaizer Chiefs R90Million per season while also sharing 50% of the club’s merchandise that people will buy.
With Castore being the largest growing sporting brand in the Footballing world it might be a perfect time for them to venture into the African Market with Kaizer Chiefs being the second most followed Club in Africa it would make business sense for Castore to partner with Kaizer Chiefs.
Though alot of things are still unclear it remains to be seen what’s the way forward for Kaizer Chiefs Football Club and Nike.
Chiefs must take this brand and run with it.
But there’s Kappa already, what’s gonna happen? Or we’ll have more sponsors?
