While other coaches are dropping different kinds of bombshells by writing resignation letters to their management due to other reasons, newly appointed Kaizer Chiefs FC interim coach Cavin Johnson has also shared his own kind of a bombshell.
Many people believes that Kaizer Chiefs FC as a team, is a team that is not easy for anyone to coach, those people believes Chiefs is a special team, and needs special coaches for the work. However, Johnson has cleared all those news, he said Chiefs is a team that is not hard to coach.
“People think it’s difficult to coach this team, no, it’s not. It’s about the cloth that runs through this team that we need respect and sometimes we don’t respect that,” he said.
In other news, our analyser Senzo Sambo has analysed how Nkosingphile Ngcobo must be used at Kaizer Chiefs FC.
“This thing was supposed to be easy for the coaches. We all know that Nkosingphile Ngcobo is not that good defensively, that is why he can’t play the no.8 role with a sole DM.
“But when you have some of your DMs like Edson Castillo who have got the ability to make runs inside the box. Why don’t you apply a hybrid role for Nkosingphile Ngcobo as 8/10, also games differ in terms of approach.
“Sometimes you can just make Mthethwa sit as the sole 6 then put Mshini in that 8 role supported by Shabalala, against weaker teams actually against the other 13 teams, except for Sundowns, Pirates and Supersport. Then against formidable sides since our coaches are cowards they can try Mthethwa, Mshini, Edson Castillo just for defensive assurance. But what i have seen is that the coaches do not want to bench Maart or Castillo, and that is why each and every coach will fail.
“Kaizer Chiefs have used pivots since the beginning of the season, but we still concede goals while the pivot is to help not concede, in the meantime the pivot affects our attacking play.” – he said.
