Kaizer Chiefs and Nike set to part ways after 21years of partnership.

Rumours have it that Kaizer Chiefs sponsorship with Nike is about to come to an end after 21years of working together in producing one of the best Kits in the World.

The reasons for Kaizer Chiefs parting ways with Nike are said to be many with the Kaizer Chiefs anniversary Jersey also being allegedly part of the reason they will part ways.

According to insiders Kaizer Chiefs designed the 50years anniversary Jersey and submitted it to Nike but Nike made limited Jersey then at the end of the season produced similar kit to Barcelona while Kaizer Chiefs one was limited.

This is said to have upset Kaizer Chiefs and the previous season Jerseys for Kaizer Chiefs Reserves arrived after the Diski Shield Champions had already played more than 5games whereby they had to use previous season jersey.

It’s not the first time Kaizer Chiefs is rumoured to be parting ways with Nike as in 2016 Puma were on standby and had already designed Jersey’s for Kaizer Chiefs before Chiefs and Nike renewed their sponsorship for another 6years.

With the Nike and Kaizer Chiefs contract coming to an end at the end of the season it’s rumoured Kaizer Chiefs are not thinking of renewing their deal with the brand though anything can happen if Nike increases the sponsorship deal.
