How Molefi Ntseki’s future as a Kaizer Chiefs coach is looking like ahead of blockbuster clash on Saturday.
Kaizer Chiefs coach will definitely be on the hot seat this coming week as the games keep on coming thick and fast for the Free State born tactician.
Molefi Ntseki who came to Kaizer Chiefs to look over and be the head of development has seemingly seen himself, takeover as head coach after just two years in his role.
Molefi Ntseki doesn’t really have a clear record in the PSL especially in top flight fooptball and his top gig was being the head coach of the National team, whereby he failed to qualify South Africa to AFCON before getting sacked by the National team.
The hiring of coach Molefi Ntseki was met with heavy criticism by majority of Kaizer Chiefs Supporters some even questioning the ambitions the Kaizer Chiefs management still have for the Club after hiring someone with no record of success despite the Club being trophyless for 8years.
Kaizer Chiefs has started the season on a bad slate as they failed to get wins in their first 3Leagues games. Molefi Ntseki currently has two wins under his belt as Kaizer Chiefs coach, while the record for draws is the same, as lossses and wins managing to collect just 8points in six games.
Having drawn their previous match against Royal AM Kaizer Chiefs will fair up against Supersport United on Wednesday in Polokwane Peter Mokaba Stadium, in attempts to bounce back after a disappointing result on Saturday.
The biggest game which might be detrimental to coach Molefi Ntseki’s job is the MTN8 Semi Final second leg as Mamelodi Sundowns have the advantage and Kaizer Chiefs must score in order progress to the next round.
With such a bad start failure to get wins in the next two matches might be enough for the Kaizer Chiefs hierarchy to pull the plug on the Molefi Ntseki project which so far hasn’t shown any signs of peaking.
Sources within the Club have already informed SSnews that the Club is tired of paying fines to the PSL due to Supporters behaviour and recently they wrote a letter to the PSL apologizing and now the management will be hoping to avoid any of those which might mean even sacking the coach if it calms down the anger of Supporters.
The Kaizer Chiefs management has certain belief that the squad they have assembled is good enough to compete for trophies and anything less than that will be met with harsh reality.
The management is still trying to strengthen the squad with a multimillion rand offer being submitted to Stellenbosch FC for the services of Sibongiseni Mthethwa.
