Kaizer Chiefs have announced that they have parted ways Kamohelo Mahlatsi after both parties agreed to mutually terminate his contract.
Mahlatsi, 25, joined Chiefs from Moroka Swallows ahead of the 2023/24 season but never really lived up to expectations at Naturena.
He’s only made seven appearances for the club, starting just three games.
On Monday, Chiefs announced his departure after they agreed to mutually terminate his contract, which was still running until 2025.
Mahlatsi becomes the club’s ninth departure this window, following Kgaogelo Sekgota, Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana, Siyabongo Ngezane, Austin Dube, Eric Mathoho, Phathutshedzo Nange, Cole Alexander and Khama Billiat.
Kaizer Chiefs Football Club supporters had so many expectations when Kamohelo Mahlatsi arrived at the club but he did not live up to his expectations that the Kaizer Chiefs supporters had wanted.
Since Kamohelo Mahlatsi is now a free agent he can now join any Football Club that he wants to join.
According to sources,Kamohelo Mahlatsi may go back to Moroka Swallows Football Club for his second stint at the club since he left the Moroka Swallows Football Club in 2022 where he performed very well and was recognized as a big team material or a player who can play at overseas clubs.

Before joining Kaizer Chiefs Football Club,Kamohelo Mahlatsi was the highest paid player at Moroka Swallows Football Club taking home more that R100 000 which was more of his value since he was important to the club.
