Kaizer Chiefs management set to consider the appointment of Pitso Mosimane.
Kaizer Chiefs management has currently stepped up its efforts to try and get a new coach, SSnews can reveal that Kaizer Chiefs are hoping to have a new gaffer in charge before the 16th of December.
On Mondays boardroom meeting ideas and new way foward was shared within the Kaizer Chiefs board members, but one of the main agendas was the appointment of a new coach on who is going to take over and replace coach Molefi Ntseki.
It has been noted that, there’s an intention from within the Club to give the new coach space, time and patience as they are tired of changing coaches within a short period of time, Kaizer Chiefs has had more than 10coaches for the past 8years, which does not bode well with a Club of Kaizer Chiefs calibre.
Kaizer Chiefs board members also noted the need for the new coach to have his own pre season, and it was identified that December and January will be the perfect fit due to the AFCON which will give the new coach the needed time to instill his tactics.
While it has been speculation on the media SSnews can confirm that Kaizer Chiefs have profiled their final 10 coaches list, the list includes high profile people, top gaffer’s from the continent with a few technocrats names also being among that list.
But what will excite Kaizer Chiefs Supporters is the bame Pitso Mosimane, we can confirm that Pitso Mosimane is in the final top10 list which was trimmed from 40 to 10, and surprisingly coach Pitso Mosimane is the only coach from that list who did not submit even a CV.
The intention from Kaizer Chiefs management might be a signal that there’s renewed interest on his services, considering the fact that Pitso Mosimane did not submit any CV for the job.
Pitso Mosimane is currently away from the country, but sources reveal he will touch down in the country in the next few days with his technical team. Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to arrange a meeting to try and hear from the coaches perspective about the Kaizer Chiefs project.
SSnews understands that most board members are willing to give Pitso Mosimane the chance, though financial issues and other things which the coach might stipulate can ruin some things.
Though Kaizer Chiefs still has some high profile names in their top10, and they will be looking to turn on to them for help should anything not materialise with coach Pitso.
