Kaizer Chiefs have been linked to quite a few strikers ahead of the next season and it now seems as if they’re about to act.
Kaizer Chiefs are thought to be ready to seal a deal with Marumo Gallants striker Ranga Chivaviro, if the latest reports are anything to go by.
Just in recent weeks Chiefs have been linked to the likes of Chivaviro, Ashley Cupido, Benson Omala, Fiston Mayele, Iqraam Rayners, Etios Ighodaro and Eric Sadia. It now looks as if, they may have settled on the former Venda Academy star.
This may come as a shock as, although they were initially linked to Chivaviro alongside arch-rivals Orlando Pirates, links to both Soweto giants looked to have died down. The player’s agent had even come out saying that there were no calls from any local clubs and if Chiefs called then he would listen, despite wanting to take the player overseas as a first option.
Now it seemed like that wouldn’t materialise when Chivaviro was all of a sudden thought to be closing in on a move beyond the borders, to Yanga SC of Tanzania. It was said that the player was attracted to the prospect of playing CAF Champions League. That is something he won’t be able to do if he goes to Chiefs, but one thing is for sure, according to FARPost, his agent seems to have stuck to his word and answered the Amakhosi’s call.
CHIEFS TO MAKE A MOVE FOR CHIVAVIRO THIS WEEK.
“The club has contacted Ranga’s management team and expressed interest in his services”
Ranga Chivaviro has been one of the best players in the Dstv Premiership scoring over 8+ goals including in the Caf Confederation Cup where he helped Marumo Gallants Football Club reach the semi-finals of the Continental Competition.
Ranga Chivaviro is the leading goalscorer in the Marumo Gallants Football Club team and it seemed like he had got interests from other clubs in Africa and without a doubt it looks like the South African international player will look to join other clubs in South Africa since Kaizer Chiefs Football Club are also interested in his services and his qualities can help Kaizer Chiefs win trophies since the club are Keen on releasing Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana who has scored 8 goals and has one assist in 21 games that he has played for Kaizer Chiefs Football Club this season.
Some Kaizer Chiefs Football Club supporters had to speak up and say that Kaizer Chiefs should sign Ranga Chivaviro because he is one of the best strikers in Africa and without a doubt he is the best South African Born Striker.
The Kaizer Chiefs Management will now make their decision in the upcoming transfer window since the transfers are now closed and some players are not able to be signed by opposition Football clubs as Kaizer Chiefs have already completed the signing of Thatayaone Ditlhokwe and Given Msimango on Permanent Deal and the club is yet to make an announcement whether they will sign more players in the upcoming season.
