Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye has picked nine players on his Amakhosi transfer wish-list ahead of the upcoming window.
Chiefs have already made several moves in the market, but only officially announced the arrival of Thatayoane Ditlhokwe from SuperSport United on a free transfer.
Meanwhile, iDiski Times has also learnt that Mduduzi Mdantsane and Venezuelan midfielder Edson Castillo also agreed to join, with Given Msimango also understood to be heading to Naturena.
Meanwhile, Khanye believes his former club need to become more active in the market.
“Kaizer Chiefs need to restructure their whole setup,” he told iDiski Times.
“First of all they need to bring in an experienced coach like Pitso Mosimane, assisted by Dan Malisela or Farouk Khan, even though Farouk should probably be the Head of Development.
“The should bring players such as [Haashim] Domingo, [Lesedi] Kapinga, Andile Jali. Also Khanyisa Mayo, [Sphelele] Mkhulise as well. Thulani Serero and [Junior] Mendieta.
“And [Mosa] Lebusa as centre-back from Sundowns.
“Lastly, can they bring in Ricardo Goss to challenge for the Nr.1 spot, even though I still believe in [Itumeleng] Khune – the two can compete.”
Khanye’s suggestions are more of a wish-list, with Domingo being linked with a move to Raja Club Athletic, while Jali seems to close in on a move to Orlando Pirates.
Lebusa and Mkhulise still have a contract at Chloorkop, as does Kapinga but he is said to be keen on leaving. Serero will likely become a free agent by the end of June, while Mendieta is understood to be close to joining Masandawana.
Finally, Mayo recently signed a new deal with Cape Town City and Goss still has one more year left on his SuperSport United loan.
According to a source, there has been indications that Kaizer Chiefs Football Club Might sign Lesedi Kapinga after his exit from Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club.
