Kaizer Chiefs management set to make big changes to their squad in this current transfer window or end of the current season, Chiefs may not be adding many players, but they may be loaning out, selling, and releasing up to nine players.
Five players are reportedly going to be loaned out by Amakhosi management. In addition, four players have been connected to exits that have drawn interest from possible suitors already.
Here is the list of Amakhosi players linked with a departure.
Itumeleng Khune, S’fiso Hlanti, Edmilson Dove, Aden McCarthy, Happy Mashiane, Sabelo Radebe, Samkelo Zwane, Siyethembe Sithebe, Wandile Duba.
Khune has drawn attention from Sekhukune United, rivals in the PSL. The Amakhosi legend is also allegedly thinking about joining Chiefs’ competitors instead of staying with them.
Hlanti, another longtime member of the club, is nearing the end of his career at Naturena. The management is considering not to extend his contract because it is scheduled to expire at the end of the current campaign. That is to say, at the end of the season, he probably will leave.
Saudi Arabia is showing interest in Edmilson Dove, and the club is willing to give it a listen. AmaZulu is eager for Sithebe to return to Usuthu. Despite their limited playing time and contract expirations, these three players (Khune and Hlanti) have drawn offers. So that they could all evaluate their offers
It is planned for McCarthy, Mashiane, Radebe, Zwane, and Duba to go on loan. In other words, all of these players are considered part of the club’s future plans.
They must, nevertheless, develop as players. By moving on loan, these players can accomplish two goals at once: they can gain more playing time and develop while still being members of the team. With any luck, they’ll come back as more polished athletes.
