Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly interested in signing a new goalkeeper for the upcoming season. It looks as though Kaizer Chiefs will keep controlling the transfer rumours.
Given that Bruce Bvuma is having fitness issues, Itumeleng Khune is growing older by the day, Brandon Peterson is counting huge howlers instead of clean sheets, and the Soweto giants are reportedly looking for a new man in a glove.
According to our Source, Kaizer Chiefs are now interested in signing Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabili.
Amakhosi is reportedly interested in Nwabili as he has been putting up some strong performances for the Chilli Boys this season. In 12 Premier Soccer League games, the 27-year-old goalkeeper has managed to keep six clean sheets.
After having trouble getting into the game during his first 2022–23 PSL season, in which he appeared in nine games across all competitions, he has established himself as a regular this season.
“FARPost has it on good authority that Chiefs are looking to sign a new goalkeeper to add depth to their squad,” the Johannesburg-based outlet reported
“Chiefs are reportedly considering a foreign goalkeeper, but that will depend on the availability of a spot for a foreigner. The Soweto giants already have five foreigners on their books and would have to release one to register another”.
