Kaizer Chiefs are set to sign two strikes in January so that they can boost their attacking options.
Amakhosi have had difficulty scoring goals this season, and since Jason Gonzalez and Ranga Chivaviro are struggling to establish themselves, the team may decide to bolster their offensive line.
Given that those two strikes aren’t succeeding, Kaizer Chiefs may decide to let them go in order to make space for the upcoming strikes.
The Congolese striker Walter Bwalya and Amakhosi were linked in the past few months.
Soccer Laduma states that Bwalya joining the Chiefs is only feasible if Gonzalez’s loan is not extended by the team.
“Yes, for now the team still wants to sign a striker or even two but it will all depend on whether the club wants to keep Gonzalez beyong his loan deal. The coach has made it clear now that his sees him playing an important part in the team going forward this season,” Soccer Laduma reported
“So, at this moment we are putting on hold the signings of the strikers like of Walter Bwalya and even Walter Musona. But if things don’t work out with Gonzalez the management is ready to bring in other strikers and Bwalya is on the top of the list.”
