Former Kaizer Chiefs FC winger Junior Khanye has praised some of Kaizer Chiefs FC and also praised the whole team as well.
After winning 2 – 1 against Stellenbosch FC on Saturday, some of Chiefs players joined the party by putting smiles on Kaizer Chiefs FC faithful fans. Khanye praised the likes of the twenty one years old Samkelo Zwane, Keagan Dolly, Ashely Du Preez, Mdudusi Shabalala, Chiefs goalkeeper Brandon Petersen and others.
Khanye says Zwane reminds him former Orlando Pirates FC diffencive midfielder and current Mamelodi Sundowns FC diffencive midfielder Andile Jali. He said Zwane was more of box to box midfielder, and said he was also calling for the ball, creating chances for his teammates.
“Zwane played very very well, he reminded me Andile Jali.”- Khanye added on Idiski TV.
However, Khanye said he still wants to see how Zwane will play against the team that is good on possessing the ball and the team that have good midfield that will put enough pressure. He says he wants to see weather Zwane will be able to screen the midfield and be able to turn in difficult situations.
Apart from Samkelo Zwane, Junior Khanye said Keagan Dolly was influencing after every long time being off form. Keagan Dolly was the reason why Stellenbosch FC goalkeeper received a yellow cards in early minutes. His pressing forced Stellenbosch FC goalkeeper to touch the ball while outside the eighteen box, and that was red card. Keagan Dolly also scored a second fall, that is why Junior Khanye believes he was very influential.
Khanye praised the young Mdudusi Shabalala who was promoted at the begining of the current season, he said at his age, he is a hard worker. He says his passes are not from this world. He also advised him to always stay focused so that he can grow in the world of football. Khanye said Shabalala is the the best talent that he has ever seen after every long time.
Junior Khanye also praised Kaizer Chiefs FC current goalkeeper Brandon Petersen for making a very good save on the last minutes. Petersen save denied Stellenbosch FC from equalising. He said on the second half, The Stellies was attacking left, right and center. Even the statistics can prove all that because even the corner kicks Stellenbosch got are on top of the corner kicks Chiefs managed to get.
Lastly, overall, Khanye said he enjoyed the game especially on the first half. He said if Chiefs can continue winning games like they did on Saturday, that will be very good. He ended his analysis by giving credit to Kaizer Chiefs FC for winning their game.
Kaizer Chiefs FC will face Marumo Gallants on the next games on the league clash on Saturday.
