The contract of this talented winger, will expire at the end of the current season ( June ). However, we are hearing that will get a contract extension, but romours have it that he is expected to make a payment cut so that he can earn himself a new contract and stay in Naturena. Some fans are asking why Billiat hasn’t been playing. According to Khama himself, he is out because of an long term injury not because of contract issues.
Amakhosi forward Khama Billiat has admited that it has been a frustrating time for him to be sidelined due to an injury.
“Being injured of course is frustrating especially when it takes longer than what you expected,” he said telling reporters.
“It is very frustrating because you can only contribute as much as we can only when we are fit. We always want to contribute positively to the team.
“But as much as you are injured on the sidelines you can only motivate the guys. Try to watch the games and make sure you give your input whenever we reflect on the games,” added Khama Billiat.
It is not clear on when will Khama Billiat be back. But interesting news is that, he traveled with Kaizer Chiefs FC squad that faced Royal AM, even though he was not on bench or in the starting line up.
Khama Billiat made 9 appears this season, and he already has three assists and zero goals. When it comes to start, he is on top of regular players like Kgaogelo Sekgota, who has zero goal (s) and zero assist (s).
