One of the key first team players for Kaizer Chiefs is about to face a significant decision regarding his immediate future.
The future of one of the team’s defenders will be the subject of a significant decision made by Kaizer Chiefs. At the end of the season, Sifiso Hlanti’s contract expires, but the club has the option to extend!
Hlanti joined the Glamour Boys in 2021 and has since made 52 appearances for the team, helping to score one goal and scoring four times. Hlanti’s agent says he will find out in the next few weeks what happens to him at the team.
“Hlanti has an option in his contract, We will wait for the club [Kaizer Chiefs] to see what’s gonna happen, they are back next week,” Sizwe Ntsangase told iDiskiTimes.
The club’s plans for the January transfer window have been made public by Kaizer Chiefs interim head coach Cavin Johnson.
“Like I said earlier, I’m not interested in getting any players at the moment. We need to work with what we have, make sure that they come to the party and make sure that they believe that they are Kaizer Chiefs players,” Cavin Johnson said, as quoted by SoccerLaduma.
“And that’s what we gonna work on during the break and now we’ve got a little bit of a holiday. I think five or ten days, we get back and we’ve got a little pre-season camp and we see what happens when we come back.”
