Former Raja Club Athletic and Al Hilal star Fabrice Ngoma has completed a move to Simba SC ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The highly-rated midfielder who won the Botola Pro and CAF Confederation Cup during his time in Morocco has endured a period of instability in his career of late and parted ways with Hilal due to the political unrest in Sudan.
While Hilal said they will contest his and two other teammates termination of contracts, he’s now been confirmed as a new signing for the Tanzanian giants, who have been active in the market as they look to end the dominance of rivals Young Africans SC next season.
Yanga have won back-to-back domestic trebles and with Simba part of the inaugural Africa Super League, they are keen to build a squad that could potentially compete on multiple fronts in the coming season.
Ngoma was said to be offered to Kaizer Chiefs ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, but a move never materialised.
The 29-year-old has vast experience in the CAF Champions League, having made 31 appearances in the competition for Raja, As Vita and Al Hilal.
Kaizer Chiefs also rejected the offer for Ngoma which was R360k salary per month which Kaizer Chiefs could not agree terms with the Player and also his agent, but at the moment Kaizer Chiefs Football Club Management stated that they will not sign Ngoma because it will ruin the building process of the Bafana Bafana squad, which Kaizer Chiefs Management Has stated.
Kaizer Chiefs Football Club also have signed Edson Castillo in the place of signing Fabrice Ngoma because the offer was much better and Kaizer Chiefs Football Club believed that Fabrice Ngoma was not worth the deal the were asking for.
Fabrice Ngoma has mostly been rated as one of the best Defensive Midfielders in the African continent due to his defending and passing abilities.
