It seems like things are bad for Kaizer Chiefs FC one of the longest serving player Eric Mathoho, who’s contract coming to an end this year in June.
Eric Mathoho has not gotten a fair chance this season, and the head coach Arthur Zwane said it is because of being injury prone. What is surprising on this issue is that, Eric Mathoho had been training since the start of this season even though Zwane said he is injured. The competition Mathoho is getting might force the management not to renew his contract that will expire at end of the current season.
Unlike Khama Billiat who is expected to make a payment cut in order for him to get an extension, rumours have it that Tower will leave Chiefs. Eric Mathoho is competing against the likes of Njabulo Ngcobo, who is also a former defender of the season, he got that award while at Swallows FC. He is also competing against Siyabonga Ngezana, Edmlsin Dove, Thabani Dube and Zitha Kwinika.
The signing of Thathayaone Ditlhokwe will make it difficult for Tower to stay. Ditlhokwe is a talented deffender, who signed a pre – contract with Amakhosi from Supersport United. He is also a Botswana national team captain. So as things stand according to the rumours, Mathoho will leave Amakhosi.
Who is Eric Mathoho? His full names are Mulomowandau Eric Mathoho, he was born on the 01 March 1990. It means he will be thirty two years this year. He was born in Tshiombo, Thohoyandou in Venda. His height is 1.90 meter. He is a professional Kaizer Chiefs FC deffender who is wearing jersey number three.
