Kaizer Chiefs FC fans are calling for their management to sign Elias Mokwana, from Sekhukhune United.
However at the moment, it seems like Amakhosi faithful fans must just forget about Elias joining Kaizer Chiefs FC according to the latest reports. Mokwana is highly linked with possible move to either Orlando Pirates FC or Mamelodi Sundowns FC.
“Sekhukhune United preparing for life without Elias Mokwana?
“Babina Noko have signed Lesotho international Teboho Letsema who impressed during a friendly between Sekhukhune and Lesotho.
“The 21-year-old winger will be joining the #DStvPrem club from Lesotho Premier League outfit Linare FC. Mokwana has attracted interest from local giants, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.” Austin Ditlhobolo report end.
This means at the moment, chances are slim for Kaizer Chiefs FC fans to end up seeing Elias Mokwana wearing gold and back colours in Naturena.
Adding more on that, our analyser Senzo Sambo has analysed PSL wingers. Here are his analysin below;
For me the PSL this season has not produced top wingers outside the big three. Yes we have decent players like Sanele Barns, Elias Mokwana and Apollis.
But they do not raise the standard that’s just my take. The only winger i would sign is Devon Titus at Stellies. I think going into the transfer window this January and also in the July tranfer window.
The focus should be to raid those 3 Cape Town teams Stellenbosch, Cape Town City and Cape Town Spurs, they have the best talent currently in all positions from 12 teams(excluded the big three)
I see wingers like, Sanele Barns, Elias Mokwana and Apollis. But for me they are decent they do not raise the standard in the wings for Kaizer Chiefs.
In other news, Kaizer Chiefs FC is amongst teams are willing to sign more players to strengthen their squads very soon. Some names of top Chiefs players whom Chiefs management is really pushing hard to win their signatures, have bee revealed.
1. Riaan Hanamub – AmaZulu FC.
2. Siphesihle Mkhize – Sekhukhune.
3. Qobolwakhe Sibande – Stellenbosch.
4. Mohamed Hussein – Simba SC.
These players are already in Kaizer Chiefs’ radar for next season/transfer window. Chiefs Management granted technical team permission to identify players of their choice for future. Technical team together with scouting department reported back to the office that these are players they’d love to have.
Surprisingly, Kaizer Chiefs Management had already opened talks with the 3 clubs before the transfer window closed on 22 September. Qobolwakhe Sibande of Stellenbosch & Mohamed Hussein of Simba were targeted for this season, but Stellies felt that talks should be on hold and will be resumed in the next transfer so that they get replacement.
Hussein’s Simba SC were willing to sell their left back but the foreign spot in our team remained occupied after the arrival of González. AmaZulu FC also opted to keep their man after they rejected Kaizer Chiefs offer. However, I heard that management is preparing for a second improved offer for Hanamub in the next transfer window or next season.
Siphesihle Mkhize is the only one that was identified but yet to open talks with Sekhukhune.
Something is changing at Naturena! Soon we will reap the fruits. We appreciate what the management is doing. We are Kaizer Chiefs! We’re not confused.
