Kaizer Chiefs FC announced the departure of their longest serving deffender Eric Mathoho some hours ago.
Kaizer Chiefs FC fans are asking themselves which team will Tower join before the start of next season. The are two teams that might be Mathoho’s options after parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs FC.
There is a possible move for Mathoho to TS Galaxy as a replacement of Given Msimango. Given is a current deffender and captain of TS Galaxy, he has reached an agreement with Amakhosi, he will be announced as a Chiefs player in coming days.
Apart from that, Tower has another option to join Sekhukhune United. Babina noko side is a team known by signing an experience players from different teams, those players include Daniel Cardoso, Edwin Geymer, Victor Letsoalo and others.
As things stand, Mathoho will choose between TS Galaxy and Sekhukhune United. He has not yet retired, this means he will try by all means to get himself a new side.
Before his departure of Chiefs, on the previous season, he has not even played one game. However, some of Amakhosi fans were critcising him, saying he is finished. However, 98% of Chiefs fans wished him good luck on his future. Below it is the comment that was made by some fans.

“Let’s not normalise giving abo Junior Khanye the power to continue disrespecting our players you never see him criticising Mamelodi Sundowns players the aim is to disrupt our team and I’m fed up they want to turn our supporters against our new recruits.
“He always has this negative thing to say about our new players but if you ask him where must the good players go he will tell you Mamelodi Sundowns must sign Sipho Mbule, Bongani Zungu etc all quality players but has the nerve to criticize our team in everything.
“Let’s learn to support our players encouraged them to do better as much as the club is rebuilding as Kaizer Chiefs supporters it’s also our chance to change how we treat our players.
Kaizer Chiefs need this guy Given Msimango. It’s no rocket science we need Given Msimango at Chiefs.
“He is the perfect replacement for Eric Mathoho next season great Defender tall,comfortable can play from the back can also score goals.
“So far in the PSL i rate him as the best centre back currently. Again since Dube is not in the plans of coach Arthur Zwane we must go for Rushwin Dortley top top player.”- some fans added.
Apart from Eric Mathoho who has left Kaizer Chiefs FC, the deffender Thabani Dube might also leave Kaizer Chiefs FC. However, Eric Mathoho already has his replacement in Given Msimamgo, according to analysis from some of Amakhosi fans and top analysis.
Tower joined Chiefs in 2012, he has spent more than eleven seasons with Kaizer Chiefs FC. He has played two hundred and sixty seven game. As a deffender, Tower scored twenty six goals.
He enjoyed his farewell yesterday. Rumours have it that he might join TS Galaxy or Sekhukhune United. Former Chiefs midfielder and Williard Katsande of Sekhukhune United, has also shared a farewell message for his former team mate.
