Former Mamelodi Sundowns FC captain Hlompho Kekana has given Capetown City FC current best winger a piece and free advice after rumours suggesting that he is wanted in Naturena by Kaizer Chiefs FC management and Mamelodi Sundowns FC.
Bra Hlompho Kekana says it is too early for the boy to make a move to big clubs. His advice is that, he must stay for atleast two season at his current club.
“I think it is too early for him to move, let him just stay there for two more seasons.”- saying Kekana telling Kick off magazine.
Hlompho also said when it comes to goals, he has not invested enough in scoring the goals. However, he said Mayo has the potential of scoring more goals. He said in order for him to score more goals, he needs a game time that will help him.

“In terms of goals, he hasn’t scored enough, but he has the potential to score more goals, so for me, I think he needs more game time to help him, to score more goals in terms of continuity, let me just say stay there, 2 more seasons, then.”- he added.
The Mamelodi Sundowns legend was talking with regards to a potential move for Mayo to Chloorkop that has reemerged again.
Just after Kaizer Chiefs FC sporting director Kaizer Motaung Jr confirming that they are interested on signing Capetown City FC winger or attacker Khanyisa Mayo, there has been a shocking comment from his father an South African top analyser.
Former Kaizer Chiefs FC player Patrick Mayo who is a father of Khanyisa Mayo has publicly rejected Mamelodi Sundowns FC. His father made it clear that if his son joins Mamelodi Sundowns FC, his talent will be over because of how the Chlorkoop team work.
This comes after latest news circulating on different media houses that Mamelodi Sundowns FC, just like Kaizer Chiefs FC are also eying his service.
Apart from Patrick Mayo who rejected Mamelodi Sundowns FC day – light, former Orlando Pirates FC and Mamelodi Sundowns FC player Tsho Vilakazi, has also sent an advice to Mayo. He also adviced him that incase he leave Capetown City FC, he must not join Mamelodi Sundowns FC.
He said Sundowns already has top players, Peter Shalulile to exclude. Vilakazi mentioned that it will not be easy for him to make it to a starting line up.
His advice was that Mayo must join Kaizer Chiefs FC because there is no a player like him in Amakhosi camp. He also praised him as someone who has an advantage of a good height.
Former Orlando Pirates FC player and current IdisKi TV analyst says that height is am advantage because he can protect the ball.
Khanyisa Mayo is one of the top goal scorers in the league. He has netted more than ten goals this season. Kaizer Motaung Jr confirmed that they want him to Naturena, even though he said Capetown City FC is looking not ready to sell him.
