Amakhosi fans have been wondering why Kaizer Chiefs FC young midfielder Samkelo Zwane has not been playing this season. However, Kaizer Chiefs FC head coach Molefi Ntseki has revealed why Zwane is yet to get more minutes this season, since his teammates are getting fair chance.
Kaizer Chiefs FC coach Molefi Ntseki has given hope to midfielder Samkelo Zwane despite the recent arrival of Sibongiseni Mthethwa.
Zwane has featured sparingly for Chiefs so far this season, and he’s expected to warm the bench more as Ntseki appears to be a huge fan of Mthethwa for the number six role.
As things stand, Chiefs have three trusted central midfielders in Mthethwa, Maart and Edson Castillo who often plays more as an attacker.
This has left both Zwane and Siyethemba Sithebe out of the team, but Ntseki is confident the former’s time will come and he expects him to grab that chance with both hands.

Ntseki made mention of how Njabulo Ngcobo managed wrestled the jersey from Given Msimango at centre-back, saying other players should do the same.
KAIZER CHIEFS COACH NTSEKI STILL BELIEVES IN SAMKELO ZWANE;
“I think he played a few games because he’s a good player, and competition is very fair at Kaizer Chiefs, and I think you’re fully aware that we are using him as a six, and in the past few games, we were had Yusuf Maart playing as a six,” Ntseki told reporters.
“Yusuf Maart, in those games, playing very well, and then we brought Mthethwa into the team but it’s a good competition for the number six role at the club, and I think the young man is working very hard, the young man is doing very well.
“His time will come, and when that time comes, he will take the number six role, and the older guys will have to fight to take him out of the team.
“I think it has happened with the rest of the other players. We started the season with Given Msimango, and then Mapholoba… Njabulo Ngcobo was given an opportunity, and I think he has been doing very well.
“So, the rest of the players are waiting patiently to get their chance and also to take the jersey and be in the starting XI,” concluded Ntseki.
Kaizer Chiefs FC will face Amazulu FC tomorrow on a Carling black label cup clash. The kick off is at 18 hours 30 minutes.
