An intriguing attacking player from a PSL rival has been revealed as Kaizer Chiefs’ most recent target for the January transfer window.
The attacking department of Amakhosi will receive a lot of attention from the management during the January transfer window.
Additionally, one of their most recent transfer targets is an attacking star from Stellenbosch FC, a team that Amakhosi really seems to fit with. They signed Stellies players Ashley Du Preez and Sibongiseni Mthethwa, among others.
Our sources indicate that Amakhosi are interested in Nhlanhla Mgaga because he assists his current club’s strikers in scoring goals. So they want him to help Chiefs strikers to score goals.
“They are looking at strengthening the attacking part of their team. You have seen that the team has a good defensive midfield and now they want to balance it with the attacking midfielders that’s why they are looking at Nhlanhla (Mgaga) from Stellenbosch FC,” the report read on SoccerLaduma.
The player is being observed by the club in the interim. Since neither party has yet to confirm, it is unclear if they have made contact with the club.
“I don’t know whether they have talked to Stellenbosch already or if it is just for the team structure to discuss it first but they are monitoring him,” the source added.
It is therefore expected that a midfield player will be leaving if they sign an attacking midfielder. Any position is subject to the same. The most vulnerable people are those who have slipped down the social hierarchy, such as Sabelo Radebe and Siyethembe Sithebe.
