In just a few days before the FiFA registration period close, there are latest reports that there is a Mamelodi Sundowns FC player’s name in Naturena. According to the local radio station, Mphatlalatsane FM Molefi Ntseki want to strengthen his squad by adding him.
Former Supersport United central midfielder Sipho Mbule, is a wanted man in Naturena. This news pop up after the news suggesting that Chiefs pulled out in the race of signing the midfielder Sibongiseni Mthethwa. In case you do not know, Mbule was coached by Ntseki in development.
Kaizer Chiefs FC fans have been calling for Chiefs to sign Mbule even before he joins Mamelodi Sundowns FC. Even our analyser, years ago before Mbule joining Downs, he even analysed him. Here is what our analyser said:
“Sipho Mbule is an 8 a box to box player. If we sign him he easily walks in that start Lineup benching Nange. Then Nkosingiphile Ngcobo plays as a 10 but you guys are used to defensive football you will disagree with me.
“Simple balanced lineup but people have this theory that Mbule will take Nkosingiphile Ngcobo’s position and delay his progress how?
“Mbule is a versatile player actually if you check him this season when he is played more forward as a No.10 he struggles why because he prefers to dictate play in the middle and show arrogance on the ball.
“If you go back to last season
Mokoena was deployed as a DM while Mbule was operating as a CAM that gave Mbule and opportunity to shine surely all of us started paying more attention to him.
“And then this season Tembo tweaked his system a little bit he moved Mbule further up the pitch actually even drafted him as a winger if you check you will see he is struggling there but because he is a quality player he is trying to adapt in that unfamiliar position but if you check his goals they come from those deep runs coming from Midfield also his assists.
“Mbule dictates play he controls the Midfield with a player like him with that arrogancy on the ball we get to keep more ball position and play quick combinations plays and Mbule makes those late box entries also combining with that technique of Nkosingiphile Ngcobo. Obviously you guys love Mokoena and i can get why you love him he scores crackers but in terms of him dominating other Midfielders khohlwa i would love to have Mokoena at Chiefs but i would also not be sad if we don’t sign him.”- he added.
