After struggling to get playing time under coach Jose Riveiro, the Orlando Pirates attacker appears likely to be leaving the team.
The Cameroonian attacker Souaibou Marou’ stay at Orlando Pirates might soon come to an end if his agent’s remarks are any indication.
The 22-year-old Cameroonian international came to the Buccaneers with great hopes, but his time there has been absolutely disastrous.
In nearly a year, Marou has only made ONE start for the team. In actuality, in just eleven months, he has made just seven appearances, totaling 123 minutes of action
His agent Mike Makaab has provided information about Marou Souaibou’s future at Orlando Pirates.
“We will address this [Souaibou Marou’s future] with Orlando Pirates. He definitely needs a move and start playing.” Agent Mike Makaab told FARPost.
“It remains to be seen whether Marou will leave during January transfer window or when the season ends in May 2024.” the publication added.
