Orlando Pirates could beat Mamelodi Sundowns to the signing of Zambian based Dr Congolese striker, the Brazilians also have interest in this Striker.
According to a Siya source close to the player and the Orlando Pirates, the Bucs are reportedly close to signing Andy Bobwa Boyeli from Zambia’s powerful Dynamos.
The siya crew also stated that Psl rival Mamelodi Sundowns are also interested in Zambian based Dr Congolese striker Andy Bobwa Boyeli. The way Orlando Pirates could have jumped ahead of the line to sign the player has now been added to the source.
“The team is looking at releasing some strikers including foreign strikers which will open up space for Andy Bobwa Boyeli to come to the country and probably join the team. It’s not a deal yet but Pirates are in front compared to Sundowns,” said the siya Source.
“It seems Sundowns have other options as far as strikers are concerned and this gives Pirates the chance to be the front runners to land the striker as it stands at the moment,” the source told SoccerLaduma.
According to a second source, the Buccaneers are considering Boyeli as a potential addition to their strikeforce.
“You see Kermit Erasmus is injured and the other two strikes are really not contributing to the team and that’s why the team is looking at releasing them or loaning them out. And when they do that they want to bring in a striker who would help the team in solving the goalscoring drought, They have looked at different strikers but at the moment Boyeli is top of the shopping list. We just have to wait and see what will happen in this current transfer window or at end of the season” said the second Siya source.
