According to reports, the Orlando Pirates have made a choice on the future of winger Azola Matrose, a developing 20-year-old talent.
At the moment, the winger is on loan at Chippa United. This season, he has made 16 appearances for the Chilli Boys and scored twice.
The most recent sources indicate that Matrose will leave Orlando Pirates again for a loan stint the following year.
According to insiders, the Buccaneers are looking for a prospective new team. If they are unsuccessful, Matrose would probably return to Chippa United on loan the following year.
“As far as the team wanting him to go on another loan is as good as done. They want him to gain the necessary experience so that when he comes back he can fit into the team and play.” a source told SoccerLaduma
“Pirates know he is a good player but they just want him to gain more experience. Chippa wants to keep him beyond June this year but it will depend if there are no other teams interested in him”.
“And also look at the conditions of the other teams as well as Chippa, then (Orlando Pirates) will decide where he can go on loan for next season.”
