Pitso Mosimane has addressed whether or not he would return to coach Mamelodi Sundowns again in the future.
Mosimane was T-Bose‘s guest on Kaya FM this week, and spoke on several topics.
When asked if he’d ever return to Sundowns, Mosimane said they don’t need him now, and predicted they’d win the Champions League, saying they’re on the cusp.
“Ja, but Sundowns don’t have to call me because they’re doing exceptionally well,” Mosimane responded.
“What is the project today? Maybe the World Cup, yes, but I think they will win the Champions League and they’re just close to it.
“It’s like Man City. Yeah. They’ve been trying, trying, they will win it. Ultimately, they’ll win it and they’re on the right course.
“And they’ll go to the World Cup. We’ve been to the World Cup before and they will do it again.
“But I work for anybody who has a vision. I want to wake up and be happy to go to work. That’s me.”
But at this moment Pitso Mosimane’s first option is to coach Kaizer Chiefs Football Club since they are the team that are not in the standard of Mamelodi Sundowns in terms of doing very well or winning trophies since they last won them 8 years ago which will now be 9 years in 2024.
At the moment Pitso Mosimane will not submit his CV to Kaizer Chiefs but he will wait for Kaizer Chiefs to call him since they are the ones that want him and not the other way round.
