As the January PSL transfer window approaches, Kaizer Chiefs are looking to fill FOUR new positions in order to strengthen their squad for the second round of the season.
The goalie, left back, winger, and striker are the FOUR positions that Amakhosi management has determined require reinforcement.
Three main targets have been identified at left back, and they have already begun to identify a number of other targets. Itumeleng Khune and S’fiso Hlanti’s long-term replacements are required, according to the chiefs.
However, they also desire an upfront goal scorer who is more well-known. The Soweto giants have begun to make plans for the future, identifying possible successors for club veterans Khune and Hlanti.
Lungile Nkosi, the academy product goalie who is expected to be Khune’s long-term replacement, has already begun training.
Also Amakhosi are reportedly interested in Nwabili as he has been putting up some strong performances for the Chilli Boys this season. In 13 Premier Soccer League games, the 27-year-old goalkeeper has managed to keep seven clean sheets.
In addition, Bradley Cross, Mohamed Hussein, and Fawaaz Basadien are being watched as potential Hlanti replacements.
Amakhosi also wish to improve their offensive capabilities. The team is in dire need of a clinical finisher who can score double figures each season because no striker recruit has been able to live up to expectations thus far.
Lastly, they want a winger to intensify their offensive and the club might bring khama Billiat to the club again if he apologize also they are interested in Siphesihle Maduna of AmaZulu
