According to Daily Sun, a top TS Galaxy player is being investigated by the police.
This is after a case of attempted rape, malicious damage of property and domestic violence was opened against him in Saturday, 11 November 2023. The former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates FC player is alleged to have attempted to rape his ex-girlfriend to her home in Sandton on the same day the case was opened.
The thirty-one years old woman who is an online teacher, spoke to the mentioned newspaper, about her ordeal, allegedly at the hands of veteran player. She claimed that she met him back in 2021 and they became friends before trying out a romantic relationship.
“Our relationship did not work out and we became friends again. So, when I came back from Bloemfontein on Saturday, 11 November, he offered to pick me up from the airport. When we arrived home, he helped me carry my luggage into my apartment and out of the blue he tried to force himself on me. He followed m into my bedroom and pushed me onto the bed. I was saved by the clothes I had left on my bed when I was packing for the trip to Bloemfontein.
” When he was busy removing the clothes from the bed, I ran out of the room.” – she said speaking to Daily Sun.
The teary woman claimed she sat down on the couch in her lounge and the player followed her and allegedly begged her to have sex with him. When she refused, the man sawred, allegedly took her iPhone 13 and smashed it against the wall in anger.
“Then he went into my bedroom and destroyed my laptop. That’s when I realised he was going to kill me next and I ran out of the house.” She said.
The woman claimed she reported the matter to security, who quickly called armed backup.
“He jumped to his car and drove away. The security guards also called the police who arrived in no time. I then opened a case. Now I can’t work because I teach online. My students are in countries like Germany and Brazil and this has been a stressful week. He must pay for what he did to me. He must replace my property and I want him arrested. He needs to learn to understand that a no is a no.
” I don’t know why he got so angry. We are not together anymore.” She said.
In a shocking twist, the player claimed that the woman was his wife.
“She is my wife. I am not aware about any police case.” He said.
When asked when they got married and whether they stayed together or not, he declined to comment further and ended the call. Gauteng police spokesman Lieutenant colonel Mavela Masendo had not responded to questions at the time of going to print.
