Just like any new player who can promise the fans of his new side something, the newly Kaizer Chiefs FC signed striker Christian Saile Basomboli, has broken his silence since joining Amakhosi. Saile also promised Kaizer Chiefs FC fans something good / nice.
“I was very happy when I found out my documents were ready because I wanted to play for Kaizer Chiefs as soon as possible,” tells Kaizer Chiefs website.
“I was very pleased to be involved in the match day squad.”
“I got a good reception from the Chiefs fans. As a new player it made me feel good to hear them welcome me,” he says appreciatively, adding “I like jersey number 21, it’s a good number. When the coach offered it to me, I said, ‘That’s good for me’.”
“You finish one game and then focus on giving 100% against Galaxy in the next one,” he says with a determined look in his eye, recognising that there is still a lot to play for this season, and encourages his new fans to come to the stadium to inspire them
“They must keep supporting and pushing us on. We will do the best we can to make them happy,” Saile added.
Saile joing Kaizer Chiefs FC last month, and he made a debut last weekend Sunday. On that game, he came as a sub and assisted Ashely Du Preez.
Just a reminder: Kaizer Chiefs FC secured Christian Saile from Nchanga Rangers on a three and half years deal. The twenty two years old towering striker, joined Ashely Du Preez, Caleb Baminyemina in Chiefs striking department.
He is currently wearing jersey – number twenty one. This jersey was used by former Kaizer Chiefs FC middlefielder Lebohang Manyama. Saile is expected to get some more minutes on Sunday when Kaizer Chiefs FC play against TS Galaxy on the DSTV premier ship league match.
