Chelsea Striker Raheem Sterling will go back home World Cup in time for Saturday’s quarterfinal match against France.
The Chelsea forward was absent from Sunday when they beat Senegal due to family concern according to the English Football Association
The reason why he is going back home is his home was broken into by armed invaders while his family were in the residence on Saturday night
“He prioritizes being with his family right now, obviously. We’re going to encourage it and give him all the time he needs, At the moment it’s a situation he needs time with his family to deal with and I don’t want to put him under any pressure with that” said England manager Gareth Southgate.
