The solution of Kaizer Chiefs FC left back current crisis has been shared by our top analyzer. Since the start of the season, former Bidvest Wits left back, S’fiso Hlanti started as a left full back for Chiefs. However, Amakhosi fans were not impressed at all, coaches then later used Edmilson Dove as a left back, starting ahead of Hlanti.
Fans were left fuming judging Dove’s performances during the previous Soweto derby, where by Chiefs lost 1-0 against Orlando Pirates FC. Our analyzer Senzo Sambo has been clear that if Chiefs use Dove as a left back, he will not accel due to injuries. He even adviced or gave Chiefs technical team a temporary solution on that issue.
According to him, his solution is that Reeve Frosler must start on the left side as a left back while Dillon Solomons must start on the right side. Sambo says this must be a temporary solution until the next transfer or registration period.
Apart from that, here is how Sambo analyzed Dove before the start of the current season;
“At some point last season he was collecting those MOTM awards like nobodies business he was walking on water especially in the first half of the season also in January and February. However those who follow this page will tell you for a fact that Complacency will kick once Dove feels like he owns that LCB position due to lack of competition and towards the end of the season what i predicted came to pass.
“I don’t know what are the coaches plans going to next season with regards to Edmilson Dove but i wish for him to continue playing as a CB and compete with Dithlokwe I’m telling you with those two quality players pushing each other we would have a great wall. Thatoyana Dithlokwe and Edmilson Dove computing for the XI with no one guaranteed starting berth is just what we need to avoid players over relaxing and end up doing stupid mistakes.
“As for the Left Back Position we need to get a Left Back guys a person who will play as a Left Back and compete with Hlanti. Because if you take Dove to LB who will compete with Dithlokwe? That’s just my opinion what i saw last season from Dove i had never seen a CB so good in all aspects he can only get better from next season.” – he added.
