When Orlando Pirates meet their bitter rivals Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup this afternoon, at least two important players are expected to be out.
The Buccaneers will seek to reach their second consecutive cup final. The only other trophy this year has been won by Jose Riveiro (MTN8).
After a mostly unimpressive first season in charge of the Glamour Boys, a cup victory for Arthur Zwane’s Kaizer Chiefs will do him the world of good!
Miguel Timm and Kabelo Dlamini are welcomed back by Jose Riveiro after their suspensions. Both individuals were absent from the team’s previous draw with Royal AM.
On the other hand, Goodman Mosele and Olisa Ndah are also expected to be sidelined by injuries.
Thembinkosi Lorch and Innocent Maela are scheduled to have late fitness tests to determine whether or not they will participate in today’s derby.

“You know football, you cannot rely more on what you have done in the past.” Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane said as quoted by Citizen.
“Yes, we have won those games. It talks to the preparations, we got them right. The Pirates coach (Jose Riveiro) said that this time around, this will be a different Orlando Pirates team. But only time will tell”.
“Pirates are doing well, and we will be coming into this game as underdogs. But Kaizer Chiefs will go to FNB Stadium with one thing on our mind, to go there and give our best and be victorious. We have been blowing hot and cold this season, and the players know what is expected of them.”
