Why Kaizer Chiefs decided not to sign Kamohelo Mokotjo has been revealed.
Kaizer Chiefs were said to be one of the club’s interested in the services of Kamohelo Mokotjo given the defensive midfielder crisis the Club is currently facing.
Mokotjo who spent his entire Football career playing abroad in England and FC Twente is currently a free agent since parting ways with his club.
Kaizer Chiefs South African Football Giants who have not won a trophy for 8Years were rumoured to be interested in his services but sources close to SSFootballNews have told us that Arthur Zwane declined the chance to sign him.
According to insiders the Coach cited adjustments and age factors for not signing Mokotjo hence the move couldn’t happen.
Kaizer Chiefs have often played Yusuf Maart in the Holding Midfielder role while Njabulo Blom has also done fairly well in the past two games giving the Club stability in the middle.
Kaizer Chiefs will be looking at the January Transfer Window with a keen eye as there are a number of good Midfielders in the market while On Form Bafana Bafana international Sibongiseni OX Mthethwa is also being linked the Club.
Another Central Midfielder who has been doing well is Ts Galaxy’s Bathusi Aubaas and can also be an option for Coach Arthur Zwane’s team in January should he need to reinforce his squad.
