Orlando Pirates is set to welcome back two Bafana Bafana players at the end of the season.
At the end of the season, Bafana Bafana supporters might anticipate seeing two former Bafana Bafana stars return to Mayfair.
The end of the season will see the return of Tshegofatso Mabasa and Zakhele Lepasa from loans.
Mabasa is a player for Sekhukhune United, whereas Lepasa is with SuperSport United under Gavin Hunt.
Yet, as things stand, both men will rejoin the Bucs at the end of the season.
“They will be putting him on the transfer list come the end of the season, they don’t think he will add value to the team. Plus the coaches are working on balancing the squad because guys like Mabasa (Tshegofatso) and Zakhele Lepasa are coming back next season,” the insider confirmed on Phakaaati.
Since being loaned out, both players have improved. Lepasa returned to the national lineup, whereas Mabasa didn’t quite accomplish this accomplishment but still showed a lot of promise for Sekhukhune this year.
“Those guys have been doing really well where they are on loan, especially Lepasa at SuperSport United, plus he also did well for the national team. Remember they are already planning for the CAF Champions League and they believe the squad that they will assemble will have to be very tight and balanced. The bosses don’t want to have a big squad where some players will end up just getting paid without playing,” he added
