Kaizer Chiefs FC manager Bobby Motaung has shared an update on the sacking of Arthur Zwane.
According to Bobby, Zwane is going nowhere, he is doing a good and a great job, we believe in him.
Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung has commented on the future of the club’s head coach Arthur Zwane with few games left before the curtain comes down on the season.
“We’ve assembled a new team, he’s a new coach, we need to give him time. And we need to build on what we started. So we believe in him, that’s why we have him here,” Motaung told the media.
“If we didn’t believe in him, we would never have given him a chance. I think we believed in him, and we have to help him and build the team with him, it’s about the future.
“I mean if you look at the team, I mean it’s a young team. We only can help him and support him with any support system that he needs or technical support, we’ll support him.
“But he’s definitely doing a good job as you can see. Even if he doesn’t win the Nedbank Cup his future is not in doubt.
Since Zwane getting appointed, he has been criticized by many people. However, he also reply on those who are criticising him. Here is his previous reply on Junior Khanye;
Zwane: Khanye only know how to criticize, he didn’t achieve anything in football
Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has responded to Junior Khanye’s criticism that he is not going to win the Nedbank Cup.
“Critics are part of the game; that is his opinion. I respect his opinion as a former player,” said Zwane.
“And by the way, who am I to go down to the level of Junior Khanye? What did he achieve as a football player? You understand what I’m saying? So this is football, and I respect everyone.
“We respect each other, so that’s his opinion, and I love it. For the fact that he’s saying what he thinks, but people are not the same,” added Zwane.
Khanye, has boldly said Zwane won’t win the Nedbank Cup.
The 37-year-old has argued that Chiefs do not have a playing identity or structure under Zwane and lack quality players to compete with teams such as Sundowns.
He also finds fault in Zwane’s team selection as Khanye has been heard saying: ‘lengwenya uArthur ayikho mnandi ‘, loosely translated as ‘Arthur is not good enough’.
