Good news to most of Amakhosi fans is that, Kaizer Chiefs FC teenager Mfundo Vilakazi is training with the senior team.
Fans already want him to be in the starting line up, so that they can see what he has for the team. Since training with the senior team, Chiefs played only one game and it was against Richards Bay, where by Amakhosi won 1-0. The youngest player did not make a squad that faced The Rich Boys. However, it has finally been revealed on when Chiefs fans might start seeing Mfundo, maybe even on the bench. According to the official rumours reaching our table, we hear that Chiefs fans will see Vilakazi on Saturday.
This Saturday, Kaizer Chiefs FC will play against Sekhukhune United, the game will start at 20 hours 00 minutes. If Cavin Johnson’s tactics goes the way he wants, he will sure give Vilakazi some minutes.
In case you missed it, it is well known that the teenager Mfundo Vilakazi was spotted training with Kaizer Chiefs FC senior team. In as much as Amakhosi faithfuls feel that he will add an impact to the senior team, some are wondering and want to know why he is training with Kaizer Chiefs FC big team.
While digging, we got the real reason behind the “promoting” of Mfundo Vilakazi who has just completed his matric results. According to the sources, Vilakazi is training with the senior team for him to gain or adjust to a senior level pressure so that he can fit well in Carling All Stars team that will face Stellenbosch FC on the 6th December 2023. Carling All Star is a team former with players who are voted by South African football followers.
South Africans voted Vilakazi to be part of the team that will face the champions of Carling Black Label Cup(Stellenbosch FC). This simply means Vilakazi is training with the senior team because he will be part of senior team that will face Stellenbosch FC next year, in January.
Apart from that, we have coming with one of our analysis, Makaota Masiu regarding the current Kaizer Chiefs FC under Cavin Johnson. Some fans are saying Cheifs is now improving, some are saying it’s worse. Here is what our analyser say;
“Kaizer Chiefs FC fans are saying Cavin Johnson is better than Molefi Ntseki and Arthur Zwane, I am not sure about that because Johsnon has got only 2 months coaching Chiefs. For me, so far, they are the same. Fans who are saying Johnson is better, are mentioning that Chiefs won 3 consecutive games. That’s not a suprise, even under Mangethe, that happened. Kaizer Chiefs FC won all their previous games by fluke, I can analyse.
“We just score one goal and what happens after that? We don’t know what to, we run out of plans, the coach end up putting in defensive players like Njabulo Ngcobo, Dillon Solomons, Edson Castillo(when started on the bench), Samkelo Zwane(sometimes), Happy Mashiane. He puts this players because even our game management is poor, we put them in because of running out of tactics, on how to manage the game and then extend the lead. Imagine a big team like Kaizer Chiefs FC, winning 1-0, having 1 shot on target, sometimes 2, but not more than 3, then some fans who are blinded because of wins, say there is an improvement, how?
“We can’t even make 5 offensive passes, we make those passes in wrong areas, where it’s even dangerous. To show that we are winning by fluke, check all previous games, the goals were scored on an individual brilliance.
“So some fans are saying we are winning because of Bruce Bvuma, so what happens when he gets injured? Loses form? Getting suspended? It means we are not going to win? It means we will only score 1 goal, then concede more goals? Because we are winning becuase of individual luck, you see now that Chiefs is still poor?
“Are there any signs of Johson improving Chiefs? Is he going to win a Nedbank cup? Teams like Mamelodi Sundowns FC, Supersport United, Orlando Pirates FC, Stellenbosch will expose us.” – he added.
