
Kaizer Chiefs FC head coach Arthur Zwane, has sent praises to the former Stellenbosch FC forward after finding the back of the net against Royal AM on Sunday.
Arthur Zwane has described Ashely Du Preez as a team player, who can’t only score but to create chances for his teammates. Zwane said Du Preez is the kind of a player who is also doing well when it comes to deffedding. Zwane explained Ashely Du Preez as a “team player.”
“Look, I was not worried about Ashley [Du Preez]. When you look at Ashley, he is a team player,” Zwane said telling the media after their victory against Royal AM.
“You know, sometimes he doesn’t score but he creates. And he does well when it comes to defending, he is a team player as I said before.
“It was just a matter of time for him that he scores a goal.”
“And I’m very happy for him [Ashley Du Preez],” Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane said.
“I just hope this one [goal] will build his confidence going forward and score more goals.”- Amakhosi coach said.
Zwane hopes the goal that was scored by Ashely will boost his confidence and score many goals going forward.
Du Preez joined Amakhosi FC from Stellenbosch FC last year. Since joining Kaizer Chiefs FC, he has netted three goals. He is one of Kaizer Chiefs FC top goal scorers this season, joining the international striker Caleb Baminyemina who has seven goals this season.
Ashely Du Perez is a speedy South African forward who plays at Kaizer Chiefs FC. He was born on the 16th July 1997. This means he is twenty five years old. But he will be twenty six on the 16th July this year. After joining Amakhosi, Du Preez was given jersey number nine. Jersey number nine was for the former Kaizer Chiefs FC forward Samir Nurkovic, who joined Royal AM after leaving Kaizer Chiefs FC.
