Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has gives update about Khama Billiat and Ashley Du Preez
Du Preez and Billiat weren’t on the Chiefs team when the Amakhosi defeated Golden Arrows to round off the year successfully.
According to Arthur Zwane, Khama Billiat just recently begun running while Ashley Du Preez was almost ready to start his team’s game against Golden Arrows.
Zwane clarified that both players are recovering from injuries; in fact, Du Preez was about to make his debut when he informed his coach that he didn’t feel prepared.
“Khama started jogging this past weekend while Ashley was actually supposed to start the game but he came to me and said ‘coach, I’m not really comfortable”. he told reporters
“I said to him ‘listen, we obviously don’t want to play a player that doubts himself’. We want a fit Ashley as well.
“But he’s not far in terms of returning any given time. When we start training in two days time we’ll monitor him and check if he’s ready for the next game”.
